Oomancy

Egg divination, or oomancy, is a practice that has its roots in classical Greece and Rome. It entails choosing a fresh egg, tuning it to your query or goal, and preparing the egg using a variety of techniques, including boiling, blowing, and cracking. After the egg white is blown out through a hole, it is placed on a level surface so that it can be interpreted.

Egg whites can be interpreted in a number of ways, including bell shapes for celebrations or weddings, snake shapes for warnings of danger, double yolks for multiple births or important occasions, blood spots for potential issues or bad luck, and reading the yolk for insights.

1. Bell Shape: This often signifies a celebration or a wedding.

2. Snake Shape: A warning of potential danger or deceit.

3. Double Yolk: Indicates multiple births or significant events.

4. Blood Spots: Possible complications or negative omens.

5. Circle: Completion, unity, or a cycle coming to an end.

6. Heart Shape: Love, romance, or emotional fulfillment.

7. Cross: Protection, a crossroads, or a significant decision.

8. Bird Shape: News or messages coming your way.

9. Tree Shape: Growth, stability, or family matters.

10. Fish Shape: Abundance, prosperity, or spiritual insight.

How to Read the Shapes:

1. Focus on Your Question: While preparing the egg, concentrate on the question or issue you want insight into.

2. Observe Carefully: After dropping the egg white into water or spreading it on a surface, take your time to observe the shapes that form.

3. Use Your Intuition: Trust your instincts when interpreting the shapes. Sometimes, the meaning might be personal or specific to your situation.

4. Consider the Context: Think about the context of your question and how the shapes might relate to it.
